Summer Staff Missionary (ages 17 and up)

Thank you for your interest in serving this summer at Medeba Summer Camp.
It is our mission "to use adventure and community to challenge young people to continually say 'yes' to God". We are strategic about using adventure and community to develop youth mentally, spiritually, socially and physically. This dynamic environment requires individuals who come to form a team that meets challenges and accepts rewards with passion, prayer and professionalism.

Medeba was established in 1952 to reach out to both local youth and youth from urban communities to experience the life changing environment of Christian camping. We are now Medeba Adventure Learning Centre and are recognized as industry pioneers and leaders in the use of Christian adventure learning to teach, develop and reinforce faith beliefs, values and purpose.

In order to accomplish our goals and serve our guests, we pursue staff who have a true desire to serve youth and see them recognize and develop the potential they possess. Our staff is dedicated to changing young lives and providing the care and leadership to our campers that their parents expect. We expect our staff to have servant hearts, a passion for God and a desire to see youth grow, combined with responsible decision making and common sense. We value our team and equip them with skills, training, encouragement and celebration. Each staff member is vital to the ministry of Medeba and is recognized and empowered in the role they have in creating an incredible camper experience. A unified team is essential in changing young lives.

Full-Summer Staff Missionary Positions
(These positions last a minimum of nine weeks (July and August). Staff receive a base honouraium as well as have the opportunity to raise additional personal support.)

Volunteer Summer Staff/Parent Staff Missionary Positions
(These positions range from a minimum of one week to the entire summer and receive no honorarium.)
